I have some Miata parts that I want to try and sell that are probably somewhat niche. I am looking for recommendations on forums to look into selling.

NB2 gauge cluster that I pulled for your time.

Parts include

OEM eyeball vents

NB gauge cluster with NB1&NB2 gauge faces

Carbon Miata seatbelt extenders

Ot her parts probably down the road

OEM Bose radio

OEM Softtop with heated glass

OEM Wind deflector

OEM Seats

Not sure about the rest, but I'm very interested in the seat belt extenders, assuming it would work on my NA.

Building a racecar? You can always talk to the miata shops in your area to see if they know any customers who might be interested, but these kind of parts are generally pretty ubiquitous these days just because so many miatas have been turning into racecars over the last 10-15 years. The exception to this is the NB2 center console that actually has two real cup holders in it.  Folks will pay money for those.  Miata.net or ebay would probably take it off your hands quickly.

Do you have a local facebook group for miatas? There tends to be one in most regions. I have sold a ton of Miata parts that way in both NJ and now here in Los Angeles. You wont get top dollar for stuff but you will get rid of it quickly. There are also a few online vendors that sell a lot of used miata parts. I wonder if they also look to buy stuff or do they just prowl junk yards? Places like Treasure Coast Miata and Planet Miata are good examples I would think. Then your typical Ebay and Craigslist are still good places for Miata stuff, even after wading through bullshit of those markets.

Where are you located anyways? I probably dont need more miata stuff at the moment but it depends. Which seats are they?

I am not on FB so that rules that out but I like the suggestion to check us ed part resale sites for buyback . I am in Houston .

NB2 tan leather seats. I have not done a foamectomy yet. Driver has typical wear on outer side bolster otherwise both are in good shape.

Houston. I am not sure if I want to sell the soft top yet but I will likely remove it soon. Tan leather/vinyl BTW.

Ah I need black, and I’m in DC, so probably not a good choice. The NB top is sought after for NAs as it gives a bit more headroom - you should have no trouble selling it loca lly.

I have no idea. Are eyeball vents a monocotyledon seed body? I’m pretty sure the softtop and seats are part of a hull structure. The gauge cluster is probably a complete germ and pericarp for the electrical system, which I think is a kind of vine.

Maybe I’ve been thinking about this wrong and a Miata is actually several growths in symbiosis.

Im in northern Virginia, and would fight you for that tan top. I got a black one to put on this spring, it was just so much cheaper than any tan I could find. Figuring on that and a roll bar, might take a few days off wrenching.

When I sell stuff, I use Kijiji.ca (good if you’re in Canada) and Craigslist.

I would also suggest advertising something like this on Miata enthusiast forums such as these:

I think the only reason I use facebook anymore is just for groups. I havent posted photos or statuses or any of that in years. Buying and selling car parts is like 90%+ of my usage though for sure lol. Its SLIGHTLY better than Craigslist most of the time since there are at least fewer scams. Just as many stupid people though...

I ask about seats only because I am buying a second miata and getting rid of the first eventually. Newer to me car should end up coming with a seat but I will be reusing my track seat and hotswapping for track days. Old car will probably need a seat though, although I probably should look for a local one.

The tan ones are a big premium, my top is in fantastic shape, but the zip out section/zipper is toast. If you do find a tan one let me know, I’d be interested in the black one as the black electrical tape on the back window looks like crap...

I helped my dad with the top on his MGB and Spitfire and swore never again, hence the search for a good top already on the bows.

Cheapest way I can think would be via Greyhound and estimate at least $100 to do that de pending on how small they pack.

Yes I am building a weekend/t rack car. I plan on keeping the console for now but I am aware of their value. I was very gentle removing it to rebuild the shifter LOL
